What types of tablets do you repair?
I mainly work on Apple iPads and Samsung tablets. If you have a different brand, you are still welcome to ask, but in many cases those are not worth repairing.
How much does a tablet repair usually cost?
Pricing depends on the exact model and the fault. iPad and Samsung parts can vary a lot between generations, so the best thing to do is call with your model number and a description of the problem. I will give you an upfront quote and tell you honestly if the repair is not good value.
How long does a tablet repair usually take?
Most tablet repairs are fairly quick. Common jobs like screens and batteries are often done the same day or within 24 to 48 hours. If parts need to be ordered or I am very busy, I will let you know the expected timeframe when you bring it in or call.
Do you offer a warranty on tablet repairs?
Yes, tablet repairs come with a 1 year warranty on parts and workmanship. If the same issue returns within 12 months, contact me and I will take another look.
Can you fix charging and “no power” issues?
Yes, I deal with a lot of tablets that only charge at certain angles, will not charge at all or will not turn on. I can replace charging ports, batteries and in some cases repair board level faults causing power issues.
Do I need to back up my data before repair?
In most cases your data stays on the tablet and is not affected by the repair. If there is any risk to data, I will explain that before starting. If possible, it is always a good idea to have a backup of important photos and files.
